When we remove and decommission existing systems, we recycle the waste. This includes solar panels, inverters, framing, wiring.
Each solar panel has about 80 per cent of crystalline silicon that can be recovered through a refined recycling process. There are also other recyclable parts including electric junction boxes, glass and plastics, and aluminium frames and brackets.
SkyGreen acknowledges the traditional owners of the land, the Boonwurrung people. We pay our respects to their elders, past, present and emerging, and acknowledge their ongoing connection to the land, waters and community.
We'll plant trees for you
One tree planted for every kW installed, and for every 5kWh of battery storage Installed.
We partnered with aTree because not only do they plant trees, they take into account natural wildlife and habitat (think of those endless rows of mono-culture plantations... not like those).
